Vital Link Honors Erick Wolf with Innovative Design Award.

Airwolf 3D founder, Erick Wolf received the Innovative Design Award from Vital Link OC for his participation in various youth programs that introduced students to 3D printers in STEM education. Erick and his “Wolfpack” are strong supporters of Vital Link, a non-profit organization that specializes in linking students with career development and mentorship opportunities,  where they have played an significant role in the development of youth-centered events such as the ocMaker Challenge, The Annual STEM and the Arts Career Showcase, the UCI Energy Invitational, and and Vital Link STEM Exhibit Roadshow.  The award was presented to Erick by the esteemed director of Vital Link, Kathy Johnson during the 2015 Recognition Celebration. According to Kathy Johnson,

Vital Link also recognized Jillian Johnson-Sharp, the OCDE and CTEp Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator, with the Trailblazer award. Johnson-Sharp was pivotal in pioneering the highly successful ocMaker Challenge in which her tireless efforts led to a near doubling of participation between the years 2013 and 2014! Jillian Johnson-Sharp is instrumental in developing project-based curriculum that utilizes 3d printers in STEM education, among other things, to teach students how to realize their full creative potential. Airwolf 3D congratulates Jillian Johnson-Sharp on her well-deserved Trailblazer award and proudly supports her continued efforts to support the vision and mission of the Vital Link community.
